Muscle Tears / Strains / Pulls
Muscle Tears / Strains / Pulls
Injuries to the soft tissues are injuries related to the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. A muscle tear, strain, or pull is an injury to a muscle or attaching tendons. These can occur when sudden pressure or tension, overstretches, or tears are put on a muscle group. Muscle tears can damage blood vessels, causing bleeding and bruising at the injury site. The pain can also be caused by irritation of nerve endings in the area.

Treatment for Muscle Tears / Strains / Pulls
Our physiotherapists at Fizo Kare Physiotherapy Centre will diagnose and customise a rehabilitation programme to reduce the bleeding and damage within the muscle tissue and treat the pain. In addition, our physiotherapists can determine the extent of an injury and if crutches or braces are needed to heal the injury. The rehabilitation process also includes education on preventing recurrent and future injuries.
